Are there big differences in writing children's stories versus stories you would write for youth, young adults and adults?

2. Have you written fiction for more mature readers at any time?

3. Do you have children? Do you model your children, or children you know into the characters you create in your stories?

4. Do the children you know and observe have the physical characteristics or personality traits of the imaginary animal characters you write about?

5. Do you need to observe certain established guidelines by the publisher geared toward specific age groups?

6. Is there any specific scripture you write about or around as teaching points to your reading audience?

7. Many years ago, I took a writing course via mail based on a test advertised in a magazine. I concentrated on children's stories, and finally gave up, because I was told there was no market for the specific story subject I wrote about. Now at a late age, I still have that yen to write for the Lord. How often do you hear stories like mine and what do you advise the disgruntled writer? (really not a trick question, more about humor LOL)

Thank you, I'd be very pleased and proud if one of my questions were selected for your interview. I'd be equally pleased and delighted if I were to win your book. I have 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, some little ones who love gramma to read to them.

Sharing Christ's Love,
Barb Shelton
barbjan10 at tx dot rr dot comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14882288703593261021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3372665377041606235.post-53190372945366236772010-09-23T13:02:02.980-05:002010-09-23T13:02:02.980-05:00What is the specific purpose of your book?
Wha...What is the specific purpose of your book?

What do you want the child to remember about the book?

How are you helping children reach out to Jesus through your writing?

Do you specific Scripture to accomplish that goal?

desertrose5173 at gmail dot comLindanoreply@blogger.com
