ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Stephen Bly (August 17, 1944 – June 9, 2011) authored 106 books and hundreds of articles and short stories. His book, The Long Trail Home (Broadman & Holman), won the prestigious 2002 Christy Award for excellence in Christian fiction in the category western novel. Three other books, Picture Rock (Crossway Books), The Outlaw’s Twin Sister (Crossway Books), and Last of the Texas Camp (Broadman & Holman), were Christy Award finalists. He spoke at colleges, churches, camps and conferences across the U.S. and Canada. He was the pastor of Winchester Community Church, and served as mayor of Winchester, Idaho (2000-2007). He spoke on numerous television and radio programs, including Dr. James Dobson’s Focus on the Family. He was an Active Member of the Western Writers of America. Steve graduated summa cum laude in Philosophy from Fresno State University and received a M.Div from Fuller Theological Seminary. The Blys have three sons: Russell (married to Lois) and father of Zachary and Miranda (married to Chris Ross) and mother of Alayah; Michael (married to Michelle); and Aaron (married to Rina Joye) and father of Keaton and Deckard. A third generation westerner, Steve spent his early years working on California farms owned by his father and an uncle.

Janet Chester Bly received a B.S. degree in Literature & Languages and Fine & Performing Arts from Lewis-Clark State College, Lewiston, Idaho. She speaks at women’s luncheons and retreats and does writers’ workshops. She is a member of Winchester Community Church where she serves as music director. She has authored eleven nonfiction and fiction books and co-authored twenty others, as well as contributed to five books. Janet’s hobbies include decorating her home in “country clutter,” reading almost all genres of fiction and mall walking. She lives in Winchester, Idaho–elevation 4,000 feet, population 300– situated on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation.

A graduate of West Texas State he did post graduate work at Southern Methodist University. Terry plans to continue writing inspirational fiction as well as working as an agent for Hartline Literary Agency. Terry is a native Texan Living in Amarillo, Texas with his lovely wife Saundra.

A Kiss for Cade by Lori Copeland

Oh, I loved this book. I don't know that I've ever read any of Lori Copeland's books. I've seen them and thought they'd be wonderful books, so I jumped at the chance to review this book.
Copeland has given this book some humor in places. Your laughing in one spot and serious in others.
There are many characters you meet and love.
Of course you have Zoe and Cade the main characters
Zoe a feisty, spitfire, red-head, widow-at times even a bit of a wild cat, ready to claw anyone that hurts Addy's, her friend, four children. She can be proud and determined at times. Will she let Cade Kolby waltz back into her life after leaving 15 years ago promising to return for her?
Cade a handsome, lean bounty hunter. He's an unforgettable man with with his midnight blue eyes and a heart of gold, helping those in need. He has a way of being persuasive. Been gone from Winterborn 15 years, but still has an effect on Zoe as he waltz back into the town summed by his now deceased sister, Addy. Would he be able to gain Zoe's trust again?
Aunt Laticia Wiseman an old, domineering, hard headed, eccentric-but not senile woman. She likes to let her cane talk-when Aunt Laticia's waves her cane everyone listens.
You'll love Abraham, Laticia's driver and Little Missy will worm her way into your heart with her toothless lisp.
Only disappointment I had was there were curse words used though out the book. I have a policy that if there are more than three curse words I must let my readers know they are in the book, so I must hold to this. I give this book two thumbs up and I can't wait for book 2.




When Cade Kolby rode his horse out of town hot on the trail of a wanted man, he didn't wonder how he would leave the bounty hunter lifestyle behind.

Now the deaths of his sister and brother-in-law prompt a return visit and Cade once again sees Zoe, the fiery redhead he left so many years ago. He promised Zoe he'd come back. Seeing the beauty that has grown both inside and out, watching her love the children his sister left behind, Cade wonders anew why he never did return. Yet a bounty hunter cannot form the kind of ties he now desires. Wanted men will only see his loved ones as pawns to hurt Cade.

So Cade must walk away again, this time from both the woman he loves and his sister's children. There's no other way. Or is there?
