Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along, so I thought I would play for un! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers
One day I walked in and said, "You don't need to weigh me today.  Just write eighty on my chart."  They laughed.  They always subtract a couple of kilograms for the weight of my shoes and clothes, so they laughed the day I said, "The clothes and shoes I am wearing today are very heavy, so subtract ten kilograms."  The other day I could hear even the doctor in the next room laughing when I said, "Department stores have price discount days.  don't you have any weight discount days?"  No matter how much I joke around with them, though, the scale doesn't lie, so they always record the weight shown on the scale.

The Amusings of a Missionary by Ken Board
