My Review of Beyond the Reflection's Edge
Oh, my! Are you in for a ride in more ways than one when you read this book. I had never read one of Bryan Davis' books, but he now has another fan. I didn't know what to expect and was on the off side of reading the book. It is definitely an edge of the seater and don't put me down book. What a genius with an imagination! My # 1 reason for reading this was to see if I'd pass it on to a teenage boy in our church for him to read. I don't like to pass on books that I haven't read myself or know the author. Well, I'm going to give it to him and hopefully he'll read it. Love how Davis brings in his Christian faith and high standards all through the book. Really loved the fact that Davis didn't feel he had to use foul language to get his point across. If I were giving stars I'd definitely give this one a 5+ (1-5 scale).
Go ahead take the challenge and get ready for a fast pass book because you move out in this book as you move from one dimension to the next. Sometimes you forget which dimension you're in. And you really feel like you are pulled in with the characters. You'll love Nathan and Kelly and all the rest I'm almost sure of it. But don't glance into the mirror too long or you may end up in that dimension whichever one it is. I can't wait for book #2.
