Mary Elizabeth The Spotless Cow

This is a cute picture book teaching kids that it doesn't matter if we are different.  We don't all have to look alike to be in the in crowd.  Tolerating others differences is of utmost importance when it comes to friendship.  It shouldn't be that we look like others to be accepted, but that we are accepted for who we are. I'm going to share this book with the children that I teach in my afters chool program.

Thanks for the review, Abi. Glad you enjoyed it. This virtual book tour has been extended through December 31st. So has the sale of the book on the publisher's website. It's now only $12.00 (regular retail price $17.99). 50% of the net proceeds from every book sold benefits the Phoenix Children's Hospital Child Life Program.

I hope your readers get a chance to check out this adorable book.

This is a book for ages 3-9 but all ages can appreciate the message. Racism and prejudice are still a major problem in our world. We still treat people differently if they don’t look like us. This book tackles this issue in a clever, humours and diplomatic way. There are a few aside remarks put in the book specifically for adults that will give them a chuckle. The author is also the illustrator which makes it so much more special. I look forward to reading more books in the series!'
