Emily vs. Anne

L. M. Montgomery Reading Challenge
Last year during Carrie's Jan. LMM Reading Challenge we finished the Road to Avonlea DVD series.  This year we are going to get started on Emily of New Moon DVD series.

When we finish Emily we may have to start back with Anne movies again and start the circle.  Can never get enough of the classic Anne, girl or Little Women.  Hop on over to Carries, Reading to Know and get to know author LM Montgomery; then join in on the fun month of LMM Reading Challenge 2013.

    We are in again.....

    L. M. Montgomery Reading Challenge

My teen daughter and I plan on participating in this challenge.  Last year we started watching the Road to Avonlea dvd series.  We are still prodding along we are now in season #6 so we will finish season #6 and try to get season #7 done too; however, with her work schedule and school our time is limited.  Our library now has the Emily of New Moon series so if time permits we may start that too.  Love Anne girl.

    FIR '11 Reading question#1

here’s the first question, and my answer.

How much do book reviews influence your decision to acquire and/or read a book?

I have so many books that I do let reviews influence me on whether or not to check into a book.  If I sold all my books I think I'd be a millionaire that is how many books I have and I'm not kidding one bit.  We have books packed in boxes and one room full of the boxes in our house so when I say we have books we have books.  I could read a new book every day for the rest of my life and never run out of books.  so yes reviews do influence my getting books.

What about you? How much are you influenced by others’ reviews when picking books?
