Girl Talk by Nicole O'Dell along with daughters Natalie & Emily

I just received this book in the mail yesterday so I haven't had too much time to spend on reviewing the book; however, it does look like a most wonderful book.  Questions and Answers from teen girls written by mother/daughters team.  From what I've seen glancing through the book it looks like an excellent resource to have on hand for those issues that are bound to come to light in your daughters life.  The question is asked and then it is responded to by one of the daughters (either Natalie or Emily) and also Nicole, mom, answers the question from a mom's prospective.  Each Q&A has a scripture tagged to it that goes along with the question.  Below is a sample page of the book.  If you click on the picture it should blow it up so you can read it.  Also feel free to watch the video trailer below.  Visit Nicole with some Qs&As here.  I hope that I can review more of her upcoming books.  My teeny has read Nicole's Swept Away book and The Wishing Pearl.  She has totally enjoyed them.

Mesi's Season of Change by Pam Davis

Mesi's Season of Change by Pam Davis is another title in the Girls 'N Grace series. Mesi is a young girl of the Ashanti tribe in Africa. She and her best friend Kwasi find Numu, a young boy from the Kienese tribe the rivals of the Ashanti, who has been wounded and is in need of help. Together the Mesi and Numu bring their tribes together. Mesi is able to share the story of God's grace many people. This chapter book is written at a second to third grade level with a mildly challenging vocabulary. At the end of the book, there is a short educational section talking about animals and geography in Africa. I would highly recommend this book for parents who have daughter who love to read. The book teaches about children living in another country, as well as has a wonderful lesson about God's grace.

Dog Gone Drama by Donna Benson

The cupcakes strike again. The girls in the club take a hike one Saturday to find themselves owners of a stray dog. Not able to find the dogs owner one of the girls decides to care for the loving dog that they've named, Clementine. The girls try out for the drama club in school and use the dog in their production. This resulting in finding the dog's real owner. Girls ages 6-10 will love this book and also those that love dogs. This is a really cute story.

Shakin up Soccer, Summer Style by Donna Benson

Five Girls, one club, they cheer each other on in their own interest. Girls ages 6-10 will love the cupcake girlfriends. They will learn what true friendship is and sticking together is a big part of the pact. Sierra, Ashley Jessica and Valentina cheer Summer on as she tries out for their school's new mixed soccer team. Summer isn't intimidated by the all boy team. She puts her whole heart and self into the team. In the end she is looked on in a different light by the boys on the team.
