In Joyce K. Ellis' The 500 Hats of a Modern-Day Woman you’ll find strength, purpose, and perspective to balance your many roles—and gain insight into the roles of women around you.
The 500 Hats of a Modern-Day Woman by Joyce Ellis is a wonderful book. Ellis shares with her readers the many roles that a woman plays and she doesn't even scratch the surface of 500 in the 10 chapters. This book can be used on an individual study or as a group. The discussion questions at the end a each chapter get the reader digging deeper into God's Word and are thought provoking. I love the humor that Ellis uses. The chapters are very practical and fitting for today's women. Here are some of the roles the book covers:
- woman
- wife
- mother
- working woman
- daughter/daughter-in-law
- aging
- family of God/church ministry
