Do You Know Who I Am? And Other Brave Questions Women Ask by Angela Thomas.

In her book Do you Know who I am?, author and speaker Angela Thomas, reveals where she has found real courage, determination and spiritual strength.  She encourages her readers to stop pretending and rethink their fears and limitations.  This book was such an encouragement to me as I read through it.  I could tell Angela put her whole heart into this book. In all our insecurities, weaknesses, struggles, flaws, hurts, pains, needs, inadequateness, defeats, and feelings, there is only one answer.  The Answer to all our questions as women is Knowing God and who He really is.  The Key is:  God, His character and His being.

  • We may ask God:  Do you know that I'm Trembling inside....  God will ask us: Do you know that I AM the Comforter?
  • We may ask God:  Do you know that I'm Suffering.... God will ask us:  Do you know that I AM Sufficient?
  • We may ask God:  Do you know that I'm Lonely...  God will ask us:  Do you know that I AM Here with you alway?

These are just a few the the questions the author deals with in her book.  The 13 chapters in this book are just a surface scratch of who God really is.  His attributes are vast and His character is both known and mysterious.  In this book we just begin to get to know Who the I AM really is.  You'll realize how truly little you do know about God.

About the Book:

Through the intimate, honest, soul-searching chapters of “Do You Know Who I Am?” Thomas shares thoughts and struggles in which every woman can identify. With sincere candidacy, she relays God’s answers and biblical truths to ease the fears and insecurities that are often too personal to even say aloud. Angela Thomas also uses personal stories and humor to help women better understand themselves and discover the strength to continue on their individual journeys.

This book sounds like something I could really use right now. This is the first I've ever heard of Angela Thomas. I enjoyed checking out her website, her article written while a single mom was quite encouraging. Wish I had had her book when I was a single mom. Too bad the closest she comes to me in her speaking schedule is 5 hours away.
Thanks for the opportunity to win this book

I didn't realize Angela had written as many books as she has. I have When Wallflowers Dance, and had heard of Do You Think I'm Beautiful?, but I didn't know there were 4 others! This actually sounds like a book that will really speak to me as I'm struggling with so many of these questions.
