Teaser Tuesday ~ Treasured

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along, so I thought I would play for fun! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

"No nice words can accurately describe the livelihood of Rahab. This resident of Jericho made her living satisfying the lusts of men. Her business was trading skin for money."

~ p. 109, Treasured by Leigh McLeroy

Just a note: I'll have my review posted on Dec. 3rd with the book tour.

Is that a suitcase on the cover? Is this nonfiction or a fictional account of Rahab's life? Sounds good.

This is a fiction book, however the author uses Bible stories and references. You'd have to put it under fictional account because she uses her own imagination in weaving the stories. I will be posting my review and book tour on Dec. 3rd about this book.
