Out and about at the Zoo by Jo Linsdell

The text is sing-song rhyming meter about a child and his mum (mom) day out at the zoo.  The pictures are big, bold, adorable, kid-friendly and very colorful.  They hop off the page at ya.  A very fun and quick read. It is a very easy read even beginning readers could read it with little assistance.  Want to bring a smile to a child's face this book will do it; it is just that type of book.  The illustrations are loveable and the theme is enjoyable.  Who doesn't love to visit the zoo?

You may visit the tour site and see what others are saying here.  Everything I've read so far is very positive. Also watch a video where the author reads the book.

Read Jo's guest post on The Importance of reading to Kids here.

Rhyming text and colourful pictures accompany this fun day out discovering different animals at the zoo.
