Cornhusker Dreams by Cara Putman with giveaway

My review:
Captive Dreams is book three of Cara's three book series Cornhusker Dream series. She provided me with Captive Dreams to review. Oh, what a book. The setting is NE. The time is WW II.

Anna's in need of help to save the family farm. With her brother having been drafted by Uncle Sam and her father mourning the loss of his wife and had distanced himself from life since, her only option is to accept the help of German PWs. Anna is a spitfire and full of spunk. She doesn't give up or quit easily. She also must work off the farm to help keep the farm and bill paid. Her job is to pack parachutes for the boys. With each parachute that she packs, she prays for the protection of the soldier that would someday use this parachute. Anna captured Officer Chance's attention from the first day the PWs entered the farm. He was intrigued by this girl that could raise his blood pressure faster than anything else and wanted to learn more about her.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed with Cara's book. It gets two thumbs up from me.

My niece's stepson just joined the Army. Just finished boot camp. It would be hard to have a son or daughter join, but thankfully some are willing to give their lives for our freedom. Thanks to them all!
I've read one book by Cara and loved it! Please enter me for Cornhusker's Dream. Thank you.
