This book is a 12 week Bible study that deals with the most important truth in the world: a biblical understanding concerning the purpose of life, more important "YOUR LIFE". When the course is complete the student will have an understanding of their relationship with God. God has chosen to reveal Himself to us through His Word. Man must want to know the truth and be seeking for it though. John 8:31 & 32 ~ " Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." The only thing required is a real desire to know God.
The basic design of this study is to present the basic beliefs of Christianity using the Bible as the textbook and the Holy Spirit as the teacher. It can be used by an individual or in a group setting. Allow for at least 30 to 45 minutes per session.
The author uses scripture as well as personal stories to get her points across. Each session has a Find Out More section for more study on the topic discussed. At the end of the book are pages of useful resources and tools:
- Churchy words dictionary
- guides and plans
- Bible reading plans
- Bible memory plans
- recommended resources
- how to lead a study as well as a leader's guide for using the book
